FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences and Research Center, Belagavi, was selected as Regional Centre to conduct a one day sensitization program on Educational Methodology for all the faculties of Institutions affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The sensitization program was held on 22nd September 2015 at college auditorium. Dr. Munir Ahmed, Director, College Development Council, RGUHS was deputed from the University as Program co-ordinator.
Around 150 faculties from various affiliated Institutes of the University from Belagavi benefited from the deliberation on theories of learning, teaching-learning methods, academic planning and principles of evaluation. The objective of the program was to improve the educational modalities in the health care profession.
