The Maratha Mandal’s Institute Of Dental Sciences, Belgaum has been recognized as a Research Centre to carry out research work leading to Ph.D. degree of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in the Department of ‘Oral Pathology & Microbiology’ with effect from 24/10/2008.

The Department of ‘Molecular Biology & Immunology’ of Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G.Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Belgaum has been recognized as a ‘Referral Centre for Oral Microbiology’ with effect from 08/01/2010.
