Dr.H.M.Dholakia sir was born on 25/02/1926 at  Mumbai. He holds the distinct honor of being the first  postgraduate teacher of Oral Pathology in India. He  started first PG course in this subject at Nair Hospital  Dental College, Mumbai in 1960. He is “Teacher of Teachers” and ‘Bishmapitamah’ of Oral Pathology. He  is also known for various classifications for which he is  called as “Master of Classification”. Across the nation Oral Pathologist of India celebrate sirs birth  anniversary as ‘National Oral Pathologist Day’. We at our institute celebrate the day by involving young &  budding dentist in various events encompassing themes related to Oral Pathology & Dentistry.
